On July 18, 2026, at the 2026 International Bladder Exstrophy Conference at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to hear Davina Azzi share her story of living with bladder exstrophy.

Davina is a young woman who was born with classic bladder exstrophy and lives with a Mitrofanoff catheterizable channel. She openly shares her experiences online, helping educate others and showing that living with a rare congenital condition does not have to stop you from pursuing your dreams.

At just 20 years old, Davina is already making her mark as a singer, songwriter, pianist, dancer and performer in Los Angeles. Her passion for music and performing is inspiring, and she is using her social-media platforms to share both her artistic journey and her experiences living with bladder exstrophy. Her YouTube channel includes educational content about how she manages catheterization with bladder exstrophy.

🎶 Davina has also released music, including “Tattoo,” a 2025 single with KEN & Davina Azzi.
